First water-proof socks

Some people including myself used plastic bags if nothing else was available. Along came Sealskinz and developed a sock that was waterproof but not only that,kept you dry and warm. This was bound to be a winner.The first to bring the waterproof sock into the hillwalking business with a 3 layer sock. And so Sealskins had arrived with the new lines in waterproof socks, gloves and hats.It took a while for it to become established but is now firmly cemented in the industry as a leading brand.

Quality Design

The Sealskins | Sealskinz company have decades under their collective belts in designing and making accessories for outdoors people.From the very start they joined forces with athletes and climbers , cyclists and asked them what they needed and tested them to make sure that the kit was comfortable and worked well in any weather. Adventure 1 took on the first ever waterproof sock and was impressed with the quality and ingenuity of the products and we have continued to stock them to this day.

Testing

The sealskins products are tested to by independent tester such as the renewed SATRA .This testing makes sure the products are up to what the company claim. We have very very few problems with this brand and very little returns. Sealskins or Sealskinz  has been  sold by Adventure 1 way back at its conception and has proved to be a great line and success story. Before this we has surplus gore-tex booties and although the kept out the water they were not comfortable. A need was there for a good waterproof sock.Adventure 1 can confidently say that we will continue to sell the sealskins products and will be adding new lines in the near future.
