This is a Combat ration pack for the British Army.It is light and fully contained in a tough bag that is easy to store in a rucksack. I has all the ingredients needed for anyone on a patrol or hike in the hill.This will
give you all the nourishment for around 8 hours.
These rations do not need lots of messing about to get a meal going and they come with a flame less heater that will heat up the food to a reasonable standard.Great if you want to travel light without a cooker.
If it is good enough for the army then it is sure to be good.Much better than the MRE'S the US army gets.It can also be supplemented with another main meal to make it last for a day or more.
